Affordable Maternity Benefit

How would you like to have your pregnancy paid for and still have money left over?

With Supplemental Hospital Insurance you can! This insurance is designed to fill in the gaps left open by your major medical insurance and pays for more than just maternity costs; it pays you anytime you're hospitalized.

The benefits are paid three ways:

1. Initial
Hospitalization:
2. Daily Hospital Confinement: 3. Surgery, Physician,
and Disability:
Your policy pays a benefit for the first hospitalization each calendar year in which you are hospitalized for at least 24 hours (including hospitalization for pregnancy). In addition to the initial benefit, your policy pays a benefit for each day that you are in the hospital. Benefits are also paid for surgical procedures including delivery of your baby, visits to your physician's office, and disability for missed work.

We have a combination of plans which pay out a total of over $5,000 for a normal pregnancy (see example below).

Initial hosp.
(24-hr)
Daily Benefit
(each 24-hrs)
Surgery
(vaginal/caesarian)
Physician Benefit
(each visit)
Your Benefit:
2 day/ 4 day
$4,800 $300 $500/$600 $15
$5,845/$7,245

The benefits above are a combination of different plans, and are used for example only and are not binding. See Company Brochures and Policies for full details.

The supplemental policies pay you directly-not the hospital or doctor so you can use them with any provider. And if your major medical insurance covers your maternity costs, you can use the extra money you receive to buy all those fun baby things or even take a trip to see the grandparents.

These plans are very affordable and vary in benefits and price according to age, employment status, and whether you want all the benefits or just part. The important thing is that all of the plans save you money.

These plans must be in place ten months before the baby is born to receive the benefit. We recommend starting them 2-3 months before getting pregnant. To start a plan or for more information and specific pricing, talk to one of our agents today!
